On behalf of the German Government,
KfW (Kreditanstalt fuer Wieder aufbau) finances investments
and project-related advisory services to expand economic and
social infrastructure as well as trade and industry, and measures
to protect the environment and natural resources in developing
countries.
As an advisor on matters of EU external
cooperation I follow closely the EU reforms. I am especially
interested in the new EU cooperation strategy and the role member
states institutions of development cooperation can play in this
framework. This forum could be a place to learn how this role
of member states institutions is perceived by other parties
e.g. recipient countries, NGO's etc.
